Ambi Pur Home Range Review

After using Ambi Pur car vent in my car, I couldn't stop myself from trying their Home Range. They have Ambi Pur Air Effect, an instant freshness spray and Set and Refresh, which releases perfumed oil continunously to keep air fresh. I applied for a Ambi Pur Air Effect, the spray, as most of the time we are out of house and set and refresh did not suit our need.
Home Range reached home for review at perfect timing. August brings with it season of festivals. Its that part of the year, when there are family get-togethers for celebration. Also its the month, when my daughter celebrates her birthday.
Firstly I thought of having a smiley test at home with my family, I sprayed Ambi Pur Air Effect, Blossom and Breeze before my hubby was back from office and asked him to guess the frangrance. He came up with few amazing stuff, he felt he was at a wedding ceremony, surrounded by roses and orchids. The smell refreshed few of his wonderful memories of our visit to one of the Flower nursery in our native and our Vihigaon and Igatpuri trip, were there were lots of Frangipani tress. And my 4 year old, came up with all fruit names she was familiar with, while guessing the fragrance.
Driving through Mumbai-Nasik highway, smelling those fresh Frangipanis
Ambi Pur Home Range, added freshness to the house. So, for our this year's Navratri celebration and get- togther, I thought of giving the traditional festive celebration a contemporary touch with Ambi Pur Blossom and Breeze air freshener. Few of my friends were mesmorized by the fragrance and wondered if I had lit a scented candle or a fragrance stick or decorated with fresh flowers. With nowhere to find any of them, they checked with me what the wonderful fragrance was of. The Blossom and Breeze Ambi Pur room freshner turned my festival a memorable one. Thank you Ambi Pur for such a wonderful festival gift.

Nostalgic Frangrances that Bond Hubby, Me and Dubai

"Smell your way for a better mood"

How exactly do we smell and how does any smell or fragrance effect our mood?

Each day we breathe in over 23,040 times and inhale over 238 cubic feet of air. Each breath floods our smell receptors with inforamation about the environment. Smells of pleasure, awareness, danger, sexual attraction. Smell has a powerful effect on behavior. Certain smells brighten our moods and lift our spirits, like the smell of a good cup of coffee. And some other find repulsive and alert us of danger.
An exotic perfume or the smell of your lover's skin can lead to intimacy and romance while other scents bring a sense of calm and make us feel at home.
Few fragrances leave you nostalgic down the lane of life. Here are few of my nostalgic frangrances.
My Wedding Gift Box from Hubby: We had a long gap between our engagement and wedding and as my hubby was working in Dubai, we didn't get to meet till the wedding day. On the wedding day he gifted me with a gift box filled with loads of memories. The box was filled with potpourri, a handbag, a perfume bottle, a photo album which had a collection of photographs of we both, and our wedding ring. Its been 6years now and still that fragrance just can not wave off from my mind, each time I open the box, the frangrance takes me to THE big day, when we started our journey of life together.
Diwali celebrations: After wedding we stayed in Dubai for few years. When you are away from your motherland, you tend to be more bonded with all the traditions and culture of your place. During festive seasons all Indian shops are flooded with pooja material and Indian gifts. As in India, Diwali is celebrated for 5 days and thats the time when all your Indian attires come out of your cupboards. Family and friends get together for celebrations. The frangrance of the scented candles and fragrance sticks remind me of our Diwali celebrations in Dubai.

Perfume stalls and Shopping Malls: Dubai or any arabic country for that matter are known for their perfumes, they have specific streets which are lined up with perfume shops. Perfume, which is known as Attar in Arabic is considered to be one of the most treasured of material possessions. My Attar reminds me of those shopping malls and streets of Dubai which smell perfumes.

Ambi Pur Mini Vent Clip Review....

My hubby is super crazy about his car, despite the car been washed everyday by our society person, he spends atleast an hour on weekends, to keep it at its perfect looks... The boot is full of cleaning equipments, sprays and polishes.
When I came across the Ambipur mini vent clips for review on Indiblogger, I couldn't stop myself from applying one for my hubby... The Lavender Comfort which i applied reached me with in 15 days.. I was very much impressed with the presentation of soothing lavender shaded sample in a pure white bag. And put to use, the immediate next day. The vent seemed to be too powerful, even at the minimum spray position, the car was filled with the comforting smell of Lavender.

I came across A to Z benefits of lavender essential, on net. One which I was most impressed was its relaxing property and a remedy for nervous tension. What best can you expect, when your hour drive, from office to home relaxes your day's stress, and leaves you fresh to spend some fun time with family back home.

Awesome Drive, Camp Fire, BBQ, Dolphins and More

I have written more than a dozen posts on Dubai, but each time i come across my Dubai pics I have a new story to narrate. Dubai has always been very near to my heart... This post is on our trip to Khasab, Oman from Dubai...
It was somewhere in the holy month of Ramadan few years back, did we and my hubby's friends planned this trip. As the end of Ramadan, Eid-Al-Fitr was linked with weekend, we had almost 4 days off. This trip was a much awaited relaxing trip, as we were about to spend most of the time on beach, away from the fancy and luxurious shopping malls and busy metro life of Dubai.
Khasab is the capital city of Musandam Peninsula, Sultanate of Oman and is almost 185km from Dubai.
As per schedule we left at 5 in the morning. Almost by 6:30 we were at Al Dhara Border Crossing. For me the first thought which comes to mind when I hear of border crossing, is the Waghah Board with gunned men on both sides of the gate... But in gulf, with good relationships with neighboring countries, boarder crossing is as simple as crossing a toll gate in India... You get your passport stamped(from your car itself) at the counter and drive ahead.
