All their towers have spherical structure at the top, similar to golf ball, distinguishing them from other towers and easily notable from a distance. Burj Khalifa Opening Ceremony

Burj Khalifa building in Dubai, previously known as Burj Dubai, is the tallest man made structure in the World. We were lucky enough to be part of the opening ceremony of the building on 4th January 2010.. Here are few of my clicks of the ceremony..

Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak to one and all... Burj Al Arab building Dubai, lit for Eid....





 

Eid al Fitr, is the important religious festival celebrated by Muslims. Muslims fast from dawn to sunset during the entire month of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid al Fitr, which means breaking of the fast, marks the end of this holy month.

Celebration: They join the Eid prayer performed in mosques or open areas, greet relatives and friends with Eid gifts, known as Eidi on the special occasion. Also distribute charity to the needy on this day.

An evening with Burj Al Arab

Burj Al Arab is a luxurious hotel in Dubai, which stands on an artificial island from Jumeirah beach. It is connected to main land by private curving bridge and is world's fourth tallest hotel. The shape of the structure mimic the sail of a ship.
