#ALOHAWAII, Hawaiian themed launch of Organic Harvest Store, Mumbai!!!

While I still look for better Organic food stores around my place, what if I was told an organic skin care product store was opened around. And my reaction was WOW!!! Organic Harvest which came into existence in June 2013 to promote the concept of safe skin, opened its 11thexclusive brand outlet in Juhu, Tara Road, Mumbai and few of we bloggers were invited for the launch.
It was quite a humid day and I managed to reach the launch on time rushing from office. The team welcomed me with beautiful smiles and so was the store, so welcoming with colours of nature. We were asked to pick colourful props for it was a Hawaiian launch party. They also had hairstylist and nail artist to make us look even more Hawaiian;)
Store Location:
Shop No -3, Juhu Tara Road, Santa Road West, Mumbai

Meanwhile, I had a tour of the store and product range with their beauty expert. The store has been designed with an earthy look and feel. Spread over 300 square feet area the store has a green grass wall, keeping with the brand’s organic product philosophy. While I knew about their store at Infinity Mall, I had never tried their products. It was so good to hear about the goodness of their products. The product range comprise of more than 60 hair care, skin care and body care products which include cleansers, Sunscreens, Toners, Shower Gels, Shampoos, Conditioners, Treatment Creams and serums, Lip Balms etc along with 26 varieties of essential oils. Some of their best-selling products include 3-in-1 Face Wash, Exfoliating Face Scrub, Sunscreen SPF 60 and Anti Pigmentation Cream. The brand also has an Activ Range with special treatment products for every skin type. Every product is carefully conceived using eco-friendly practices and going the extra miles of being respectful of the earth. The product range starts from Rs. 149 and goes up to Rs. 1995. One range that impressed me more was their essential oils, which could be combined with any of their other products to get better benefits. I was also told, the formulas involved in their products derive from ancient home remedies.

To keep the skin miles away from damage, no harsh chemicals are used; instead, the raw materials that are used are certified by Global organizations like EcoCert, OneCert & Natrue, which certifies raw materials are derived from plants, which are grown completely sans chemical fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. Hence, the Organic Harvest products, true to their name and are in their purest forms.  None of the products are tested on animals because they believe animals are also a part of nature.
Keeping the brands ORGANIC product policy in decor as well, decor for the launch
Commenting on the brand’s milestone, Mr. Rahul Agarwal, CEO, Organic Harvest said, “Our products cater to the needs of women who want to look their natural best. World Environment Week - Lal Bagh , Bangalore!!!

World Environment day was last weekend and to celebrate the same here on my my blog, this is the post on one of my favourite places in Bangalore, Lal Bagh(Red Garden in Hindi) Botanical garden. Be it for sapling shopping or fruit fest, flower show or Sunday morning jog, Lal Bagh was one favorite stop for we cousins during our summer vacations. Being at the center of the city, its been a good joint as well for we cousins meet ups. On a recent trip of mine to Bangalore, we planned a meet and I took this chance to explore the park. I reached an hour before and wandered around.
Glass House
Commissioned by Haider Ali and completed by his son Tipu Sultan, the garden serves the green lung of the city, surviving since last three centuries. Spread over an area of 240acres, the garden is a great treasure of flora from and fauna.
The main attraction is the Glass House which is modeled on London's Crystal Palace. While the Kempegowda Tower on hillock stands tall overlooking the silicon city, more structures like Japanese monument(which also hosts Bonsai garden) have been added in recent days to add to its beauty. The park is best visited during the flower show hosted on 26th January and 15th August. You can check more about the park on Wikipedia.

More to the World Environment Week, here is a Graffiti found on the outer wall of the garden
By the time I clicked more and more flowers and the Glass House, I was joined by my cousins. Together we visited Bonsai garden and spent time playing and chatting.
